By entering this contest, you accept the Terms and Conditions stated below.

*ELIGIBILITY OF THE PARTICIPANT*

1.   The Contest is open to all  Malaysian aged 18 and above (“Participant”). The Participant must have a valid National Registration Identification Card (“NRIC”) number (12-digit) OR passport holder with valid number at the time of participation of the Contest.

*TIMELINE*

1.   The Contest will commence on 25 February 2021 and ends on 31 March 2021 (“Contest Period”). Sungguh Kemajuan reserves the absolute right to vary or amend the duration of the Contest Period if it deems necessary. All entries or submissions received prior to or subsequent to the Contest Period will not be entertained.

*SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES*

1.   Each participant is allowed to submit multiple entries.

2.   All submissions must be submitted online only.

3.   Kindly submit the logo design in A3 layout. Logo must be appropriate for a professional business setting. Entries must be submitted as JPEG files.

4.   Participant of winning logo design shall submit the final creation in AI format or in scalable vector graphic format (EPS), and be prepared to make necessary amendments requested by Sungguh Kemajuan.

5.   Colour must be CMYK and RGB, though the logo may also be produced reverse colour for dark background.

6. The logo must be easy to use, handle, resize and manipulate for all reproduction purposes.

7. The logo can be larger than, but must be no smaller than, three inches by three inches (3” X 3”). It should be visually appealing on both small (e.g. as small as 2cm X 2cm) and large scales.

*PROPERTY RIGHTS OF THE LOGO*

1. The logo designs must be the original work of the submitter. Sungguh Kemajuan shall not be responsible for any third-party claims made against the logo design. Any entries which are plagiarised shall be disqualified.

2. All entries received by Sungguh Kemajuan shall be owned by Sungguh Kemajuan. All entries are non-returnable and Sungguh Kemajuan shall be permitted to reproduce, exhibit, publish or otherwise reuse the logos submitted without notification or payment to the Participant.

3. The decision for the Winning Logo by Sungguh Kemajuan shall be final. Further calls, letters or emails shall not be entertained

4. If required, the Participant must amend the winning logo according to Sungguh Kemajuan’s branding requirements

5. Sungguh Kemajuan will have the right to use, edit, print, and exhibit the logos for promotional purposes in any medium, format it deems fit, whether for local or international purposes without having to notify or compensate the participant. The winning logo will become complete property of Sungguh Kemajuan.

*ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS & DELIVERY OF PRIZES*

1. Results will be announced after 31 March 2021, or any date as decided by Sungguh Kemajuan.

2. Winners will be contacted by the representative of Sungguh Kemajuan via e-mail, mobile number or other reachable mediums, if needed, to verify the details and be informed of the result.

3. If the selected winner fails to provide the details as requested and is not able to receive or accept the prize, the winning shall be automatically disqualified and Sungguh Kemajuan will select another winner as a replacement winner.

4. Prize is not exchangeable or transferrable. Sungguh Kemajuan reserves the right to change the prize at its discretion to other prize similar or lesser value without any prior notice. The prize is subject to any other terms and conditions as may be imposed by Sungguh Kemajuan from time to time.

*PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION*

1. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any other companies. All participants’ information will only be submitted to Sungguh Kemajuan.

2. The information Participant provides to Sungguh Kemajuan will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“Act”).

3. The personal data may be used by or on behalf of Sungguh Kemajuan to send the Participant further details, including its events, academic programmes and marketing information or to provide the Participants with further information about relevant products or services. It may be held on a mailing list or database for this purpose, unless the Participants object (by notifying Sungguh Kemajuan in writing);

4. The personal data may also be used by Sungguh Kemajuan for publicity, promotional and marketing purposes and it may also be passed on to a third party (a ‘data processor’) with whom Sungguh Kemajuan has formally contracted to process the Participants’ data for this purpose, subject to the safeguards concerning privacy and security of data set out in the Act.

5. Sungguh Kemajuan will take the necessary steps to protect the confidentiality of the personal data shared in accordance with the applicable laws.

*DECISION*

1. Sungguh Kemajuan’s decisions on all matters relating to the Contest (including but not limited to any inconsistencies in any of these terms and conditions) shall be final, biding and conclusive on the Participant and the winner. No discussion, correspondence, enquiry, appeal or challenge in respect of any decision of Sungguh Kemajuan shall be entertained in any way whatsoever.

2. The Participant hereby irrevocably waive all rights to make any oral or written complaints, public announcements or statements on the Contest, unless with prior written consent of Sungguh Kemajuan.

*TERMINATION, DISCONTINUATION AND SUSPENSION*

1. Sungguh Kemajuan may at any time without prior notice terminate, discontinue or suspend the Contest at Sungguh Kemajuan’s sole and absolute discretion in which case, Sungguh Kemajuan may elect not to award any Participant.

2. Such termination, discontinuation or suspension shall not give rise to any claim by the Participant.

3. If Sungguh Kemajuan resumes the Contest, the Participant shall abide by the decision regarding resumption of the Contest and the disposition of the Contest.

*INDEMNITY*

1. The Participant shall indemnify Sungguh Kemajuan against any actions, suits proceedings, claims, demands, fines, penalties, costs and expenses (including but not limited to legal costs on solicitor and client basis) which may be brought or made against or incurred by Sungguh Kemajuan in any way whatsoever.

*GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS*

1. The laws of Malaysia shall govern the Contest. The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by any local, national, state, or any governmental laws.

2. Sungguh Kemajuan may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any participant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions. All relevant instructions on the website form part of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Sungguh Kemajuan reserves the right to request winner(s) to provide proof of identity, proof of residency, and/or proof of age in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency, age and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Sungguh Kemajuan. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

4. The Participants hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent to:-

a. if so required by Sungguh Kemajuan, make himself/herself available (without compensation) for the production, recording and publicity of the Contest at such dates, times and venues as may be notified by Sungguh Kemajuan from time to time including but not limited to:-

i. interview (which may be recorded); and/or

ii. taking of still photograph, audio and/or visual recording for promotions and publicity use.

b. give the sole and absolute discretion to Sungguh Kemajuan to publish, print and/or broadcast the submissions.
