Eligibility

The “TKSS SOLVE THE PUZZLE” contest is open to all Malaysian residents age 13 and above (as of 2022) except employees of Sungguh Kemajuan Sdn. Bhd. (the “Organiser”). Participants under the age of 18 are required to obtain parental consent prior to participation in the Contest. By participating in this Contest, such consent is deemed to have been obtained. For such participants, the Organiser considers it the responsibility of parents and/or guardians to monitor participants’ participation in this Contest. 

1. The contest period effective in the month of February 2023. The Organiser reserves the absolute right to shorten or extend the Contest Period if deemed necessary without the need to provide prior notice.

Requirements 

1. Participants will need the following to participate in the Contest:

• An authentic Facebook account to submit entries.

 How to Participate?

1. Own a Facebook Account.
2. Like Sungguh Kemajuan Facebook Page
3. Like and share this challenge post (set as public)
4. Tag at least 3 friends on the respective challenge post to participate.

Contest period: 18 Feb - 25 Feb 2023, 11:59pm

Winner will be announced on 26 Feb 2023, at 1pm

Judging criteria

1. To complete all instructions indicated in the respective challenge post.
2. The Organiser’s decision is final and no further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
3. Sungguh Kemajuan reserves the right to pick other winners if the initial winner does not provide the requested details within 3 days from the announcement date.
4. Sungguh Kemajuan reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or discontinue the offer without prior notice.

Other Details

1. The Winners’ will be announced on the Sungguh Kemajuan Facebook page or any other medium deemed appropriate by the Organiser.
2. Winners will be announced via tagging on the contest post. Then, winner is required to send in their personal details to the Sungguh Kemajuan Facebook Page in order to obtain further guidance for prize redemption after winner announcement. 
3. Winners will be notified via Facebook announcement by the Organiser. Winners are to revert with their personal details within 40 days [from the Winners’ announcement by the Organiser] for prize redemption. By failing to do so, entitled prizes will be forfeited and no further claims will be entertained. The Organser shall endeavour to contact the winners by Facebook private message (based on the contact details provided with the entry submitted) on a best effort basis with a maximum of three (3) attempts.
4. In the event of a dispute, the potential winner may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorised account holder of the identified Facebook but the organiser’s decision will be final.
5. All decisions made by the Organiser in relation to this Contest including but not limited to the selection of winners and forfeiture of Contest Prizes (if any) shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained. The selection of the winners shall be in accordance to the Participants’ satisfaction of the Contest entry criteria and determined at the Organiser’s sole and absolute discretion.
6. The Organiser will not be held liable in the event of non-receipt or delayed delivery of any form of notification to the participants. All costs incidental to the participant’s participation in the Contest and redemption and/or usage of the prizes shall be solely borne by the winners.
7. The Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the Contest mechanics, the operation of this Contest or to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions hereof.
8. The Organiser reserves the right to reject/delete any submissions which contain any elements of nudity, pornographic images, graphic violence, defamatory or libellous statements or materials that are considered illegal or may contravene the laws of Malaysia or materials that are likely to tarnish the Organiser’s image or reputation.
9. The Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries, promoters and agents shall not be liable in any way for the following: a) any additional expenses incurred by participants for taking part in the Contest; b) any sort of technical failure; c) intervention by unauthorised parties during the Contest; d) electronic or human errors in the administration of the Contest and processing of entries; e) any data entry that is lost, stolen, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received which is not due to the negligence or wilful default of the Organiser.
10. All participants unconditionally agree to assume full liability and responsibility to the extent permitted by law in the event of any loss, mishap, injury, damage, claim, or accidents (including death) suffered as a result of or arising from their participation in this Contest, redemption and/or utilisation of the prizes and/or Sungguh Kemajuan products.
11. All entries submitted for the Contest shall become the property of the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to use, publish, disclose or display the name, address, photograph, particulars and/or documents of all winners for advertising and publicity purposes. The winners or their duly authorised representatives may be required to attend prize presentations and/or participate in publicity programmes, which the Organiser may from time to time organise in connection with the Contest and if so, such winner(s) or their duly authorised representatives should attend such functions at their own cost and expense.
12. Participants may receive future promotional messages from the Organiser.
13. The Organiser reserves the right to change, cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest at any time for the duration of the Contest Period without prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by the Organiser of the Contest shall not entitle the participants to any claim or compensation against the Organiser for any or all loss or damage suffered or costs and expenses incurred by the participant either directly and/or indirectly arising from or in connection with the cancellation, termination or suspension of the Contest by the Organiser.
14. By participating in this Contest, participants are taken to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and accept that all decisions by the Organiser are final and binding. The Organiser reserves the right to change, amend, add or delete any of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to the participants and the participants agree to be bound by such changes.
15. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.  All information provided is solely provided to Sungguh Kemajuan, and not to Facebook.

 

PRIVACY NOTICE UNDER THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2010

1. Your personal data is being processed by or on behalf of the Organiser.
2. Further, by submitting to this contest app, you hereby consent to the processing of your personal data by the Organiser in the manner as specified. 
3. The Organiser shall be processing the personal data that you have provided us with such as your name, national identity card number, contact number, address and any other information that has been requested from you in this contest app. 
4. The Organiser will be processing your personal data, including any additional information you may subsequently provide, for the purposes of the conducting this contest and contacting you (if necessary). 
5. The personal data that you provide us may be disclosed to our service providers for the aforementioned purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you provide us is accurate, complete and not misleading and that such personal data is kept up to date.
